I offer confidential individual and couple counselling sessions on a short-term (up to 12 weeks) or long-term (12 weeks or more) basis according to your specific needs. You may be struggling in one area of your life or you may be overwhelmed with your life situation. In order to support you in dealing with the issues you are currently facing, I can offer you a safe, non-judgemental space to work through this period in your life. My ultimate aim is to empower you by creating lasting change in the way you deal with your circumstances and interact with those around you. I hope to do this by improving your confidence and self-awareness so that you are able to live a more fulfilling and meaningful life.
Research has consistently shown that the quality of the relationship between a client and a counsellor is the single most important factor that determines the outcome of therapy. This is why it is very important that you feel comfortable and safe with a counsellor before you decide to embark on longer term work with them. I offer my clients an assessment session at a basic rate during which you can ask questions and we can get to know one another. After this session we can start the counselling process if we both decide that we wish to work together.
